All students enrolled in the fields of science, engineering, technology, and management are eligible to join CIRT Student Chapters. Over 100 students from one Institute or University often make up CIRT Student Chapters. CIRT Student Chapters provide possibilities for leadership, research, networking, mentoring, and friendship.

An CIRT Student Chapter cannot be established on a campus without the permission of the sponsoring Institute, University, or College. The creation of a student chapter fosters an atmosphere of creativity, education, and development on these campuses and gives students the chance to -

How to start a Student CIRT Chapters

Four easy steps can be taken to launch a CIRT student chapter. Visit the URL provided to the CIRT chapter's community email id to save entries and submit them later.


  • Step 1: Type in a name that fits the CIRT Student Chapter, a working email address, the Chapter type, and the Chapter sub-type.

  • Step 2: List the names of each CIRT student member as well as the chair, vice chair, and treasurer. Additionally required are the names of any faculty members who desire to apply for a CIRT Faculty Sponsored Professional Membership.

  • Step 3: Include chapter information (name of the university, postal address, phone number, and contact person's name).

  • Step 4: List at least 100 student members who are eager to participate in chapter activities. The names and email addresses of these members are crucial.

Within 5-7 business days, the Local CIRT Activities Manager will evaluate the application.
